Faulty pedestrian crossing

Reported via mobile in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 12:47, Fri 28 July 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4835373.

A previous report of this problem from April is listed as having been "fixed". This problem has not been fixed at any point since the submission of the previous report.

At unpredictable intervals the pedestrian Wait light switches off a few seconds after the button is pressed, without the traffic lights changing. This morning this happened to me twice in succession for the same attempt at crossing.

The crossing is located on Sydenham Road between the Post Office and Queensthorpe Road.

This problem has existed intermittently for several months.
