Falling branches a danger to people

Reported via mobile in the Damage - general (Trees) category anonymously at 11:42, Friday 4 August 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4858312.

This large oak tree outside number 9 robinhood way on grass verge has branches snapping off regularly and just missed my head . It drops thousands of acorns onto footpath in winter which do not get swept away along with leaves . These are hazardous to walk on especially for the more elderly residents in the area . Myself and neighbour have to sweep them up and we both have disabilities ourselves and should not have to do this to be able to walk out of our houses and walk on pathway. It is just a nightmare as the tree is dropping so many big branches now and smaller clumps of leaves now . It has been sprayed a couple of times for a moth but it is mot looking healthy . This tree is causing alot of problems . The grass verge is growing thousands of new trees due to acorns seeding themselves and is also not maintained. Why not ?? Can you sort this nightmare dangerous . Also leaves branches fall on our new car on our driveway and if it gets damaged I will have to take things further .
