Works taking too long and constantly extended

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4911475.

Works causing chaos for buses and traffic. Completion dates keep getting missed. Work did appear to be going on this morning, but long periods of inactivity have been noted. This site should have intensive 24/7 activity to complete the works and allow the traffic management to be removed.

  • Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. They are dealing with an emergency gas escape, unfortunately, until the leak is repaired the works will be ongoing. We have been advised that the works are due to be completed on the 25th August. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused while the works are in progress.
