Main crossing point and road covered in loose stones

Reported via desktop in the Roadworks category anonymously at 23:37, Thursday 24 August 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4925402.

The road works by your contractor Conway have created a mess and dangerous conditions for pedestrians and motorists on the Tolworth roundabout. The exact location is opposite Conways site office. They have restricted the main pedestrian crossing point from Hook Rise North to Hook Rise South to a narrow strip caused by the cages which extend to far along the slip road so its difficult to cross. In addition they have scattered lots of loose stones which are all over the walkway as well as the road and get picked up by vehicles using the road. No attempt has been made by the contractor to clear it up.
