Traffic light not working properly.

Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 12:46, Sunday 3 September 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4953515.

Dear TFL,

Location of traffic light: Traffic light right in front of ‘Newham Bookshop’ on barking road.

I was coming back from work and I wanted to cross the road and pressed on the button for the traffic lights. Initially, the green man showed and many people started crossing however all of a sudden cars started to drive past due to green signal for cars shows on their traffic light. There is some functional issue with the temporary traffic lights used. Someone could have potentially died because of this issue.

We waited for around 4 mins for the traffic light Green man again and it just did not come on. There is some problem with these temporary traffic lights used. Could you please sort out as soon as possible?
