Heavy traffic

At Medway Estates, during morning school runs and afternoon school dismissals, traffic congestion becomes extremely problematic due to the single entrance and exit. It's not uncommon for residents here to experience frustrating 40-minute delays just trying to leave. I believe there's a viable solution to this issue, but it's imperative that the council takes swift action.

The main exit from Medway Estates often gets blocked by vehicles exiting the A40. Sometimes a single car squeezes through, but often no cars can pass due to A40 traffic obstructing the exit. To prevent this, a yellow line should be painted on the ground specifically at the exit. This simple measure would prevent cars from blocking the exit, alleviating the existing congestion.

Additionally, the traffic lights at the A40 junction are still malfunctioning, changing too quickly and exacerbating congestion. As residents, we are taxpayers and deserve a prompt response to our concerns. Please, address these issues without delay by sending an inspection team. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
