SGN Works - Poor Finish - Missing Paving Stones - Colliers Wood Tube Station
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category by Simon Thomas at 08:32, Tuesday 26 September 2023
Sent to TfL 2 weeks, 4 hours, 11 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS5031690.
There were some works carried out I believe by SGN and they have just finished a couple weeks ago. However I noticed that they have not replaced the paving stones and done a quick 'n' dirty patch with tarmac, it looks terrible.
Now I dont know about you but as a tax payer this unacceptable. These bricks were laid at the expense of the tax payer and now we just remove them and put cheap tarmac down?
Where is the quality control here, non existent.
The same can be said where the bike stands are and the drinking fountain, a quick 'n' dirty fix which makes the area look terrible!
Can you please rectify, thanks

Hi,
Please see photographs which I have received from Julie Hills, a resident in my Ward, Lavender Fields with regard to a Gas Company working outside Colliers Wood Station. I understand that the tarmac laid and the concrete dust and debris have been left behind by the Contractors.
I would be grateful if you could investigate the matter and look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Many thanks
