Temporary lights holding up traffic

The temporary lights are causing long tail backs as they are not allowing eastbound traffic when there is no westbound. Also, it doesn’t look like the lights need to hold up traffic if these are just to replace the pedestrian crossing- there is enough space to allow free flow of traffic in both directions
