Crossing is dangerous for pedestrians

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 10:13, Thu 26 October 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5139217.

The new lights near corner of Goldhawk Road/Rylett Road W12 do not have a Green Man nor Countdown indicator so it is unclear when it's safe to cross. More crucially, this crossing is next to a residential home for the blind, (Pocklington Lodge) and there is No Audible Signal. This needs to be rectified quickly ! Thank you

  • I disagree that this isn't urgent! There are no signals for pedestrians in either direction. Somehow, both signals have been fitted facing inwards instead of being visible across the road so once you have left the pavement, you have no idea if & when the traffic lights are changing. It is extremely dangerous. And there is no audible signal for the blind residents of Pocklington Lodge. How is such a situation not urgent ?
