The public subway under the A4 continues to flood whenever there is heavy rain, like last night. The drains in the subway floor need to be properly managed and fixed where needed. All the local residents are unable to use this subway to get to King St and area, including schools. We have to walk to another subway, eg Black Lion lane subway. This subway at Black Lion Lane is kept in a much better state and never floods. Why should two subways be so different? Please could this have your immediate

If the blocked drain is identified as a safety issue it will be made safe within four hours. If it isn't a safety issue, we will aim to resolve it within 28 days.
