Series of blocked drains
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 20:34, Wed 15 November 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5217108.
This was first reported by me with TfL ref: FMS3934678. You will also see a series of similar reports, some from the last few days. This is a recurrent problem because there is only one properly operational drain on this street the rest (see picture) are completely blocked and require industrial level clearance - this is not just a matter of pushing leaves away from the drain. This issue is typically downgraded from 'flooding' to 'standing water' and thus resolved but this will persist unless the drains are cleared. I live below an elderly woman who called me while I was work because she was literally trapped in her house (484 Archway Road). If this problem is not investigated more thoroughly, I will be forced to contact local Cllrs and/or our MP.
