Road works to remedy flooding issue

STREETS CAPTURE --------------------- DATE:- 20/11/2023 TIME OF INCIDENT:- LOCATION:- corner junction of Fairmead Road & Holloway Road N19 4DD

DETAILS OF INCIDENT:- Customer has called regarding road works that had taken place recently. Customer lives on the ground floor of the property (customer has also advised neighbours above have experienced this also). Customer has noted that a drain just outside his property and 483 Holloway Road (owned by a housing association) has had repairs made to resolve a flooding issue over the past 12 months. The area around the drain had been excavated and repaired in an attempt to resolve the flooding issue approximately May/June 2023. Since this time, the customer has experienced noise and vibration affecting their property to the point where the customer now has grave concerns that the vibrations coming through from large and heavy vehicles travelling over the drain is now affecting the foundations of his property. Customer has also noted that cracks have started to appear in the walls to the rear of the building, customer is unsure if this is related to the recently road works that had taken place.
