I have a pot hole here that I hit my car and caused a flat tyre

Reported via mobile in the Pothole (major) category anonymously at 21:24, Mon 4 December 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5282440.

I wanted to raise this issue with TFL as I got into contact with Ealing council and they passed me into tfl as this is where the pot hole was and you’re in control of these roads. My car last week hit a massive pot hole on Hanger Lane which cause my tyre to go completely flat causing me to have to pull over and go slowly to the nearest garage and have it changed. This resulted in me spending money I shouldn’t have and being very late for work. I went to go back to take pictures of the pot hole as proof for an insurance claim and to raise this issue to the council but the road had been closed off from that evening and was having road work done to it therefore, resulting me in not being able to provide proof of the pot hole. I’d imagine someone else had thankfully already raised this issue and sorted it out. However my car still hit a pothole on that road and wanted to enquire how I’d be able to be reimbursed for the tyre I had to replace the flat one with. I hope this can get sorted quickly. I look forward to hearing from you.
