Noise - drilling until midnight

On Monday 4th of December, we had to withstand drilling outside of our windows from 7 pm until almost midnight and subsequently making noise until 4 am.

It seems like the fact that there are residents living on Whitechapel Road is something mostly overlooked when planning works.

  • Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. These works have been pushed to nightworks due to levels of footfall and the market stalls along Whitechapel Road being open 6 days a week. These works are crucial in completing the design to improve the footpaths. We apologies for any inconvenience but there needs to be an element of noisy works at the beginning of the shift the break through the bound surface to be able to undertake the investigation works.
