Incorrect signage on the pavement

Reported via mobile in the Pavement Overcrowding category anonymously at 14:37, Thursday 11 January 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5429911.

Someone has put up a horse riding prohibition sign. 1. If an equestrian has got this far along the A20, they have nowhere to divert once they reach this sign. 2. There is no prohibition sign on Mottingham Lane joining the A20 a few yards on. 3. Mounted Police regularly use this section of the A20 between the Dutch House and Clifton’s roundabout. 4. I think this should be a triangular warning sign not a circular prohibition sign.

Please notify of the traffic regulation order if the prohibition is genuine.
