Wait buttons and pedestrain lights not working properly
Reported via mobile in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 02:04, Saturday 20 January 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5466631.
Hi, hope you’re well! The street crossings in front of Dagenham East Station have not been working properly - the first half from new film studios side’s Wait button hasn’t been working well for at least a few months, the wait button is faulty - and when the lights do change the crossing is only green for pedestrians for 2 seconds(honestly no longer than that- i am young and can run but i’d have to sprint to make this it’s impossible and that’s already after the really long wait for the light). The second half of the crossing used to work until about a month ago or month and a half and the button doesn’t work now properly(or at all) either. I would be really grateful if that could be checked-it creates a lot of extra stress for pedestrians as well as the drivers. Thank you-hope you have a good week!
