Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category by Lord William C Hawkes at 23:29, Tuesday 23 January 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5483008.
The new road markings get very slippery when wet, especiallywith people swerving to avoid the new bus lane. Also we could do with some new railings please. Thanks

Th traffic lights sequence has recently been changed so that the traffic turning right from Kidbrooke Park Road into Eltham Road are now stopping the traffic from Eltham Road going in the direction of Eltham or the A20 they are stopped from proceeding by vehicles stuck in the yellow box in their path. The old sequence was a lot better and less frustrating.

Dangerous Traffic Light Sequence - the new traffic light sequence is very dangerous. If you are approaching the junction from Kidbrooke Park Rd and are turning right onto Eltham Road the Pedestrian lights at the bottom of Crathie Rd turn red and stop you before you can clear the junction. If you are behind a bus you get stranded in the yellow box and the junction so the oncoming traffic from Eltham Road get very annoyed! Even more dangerous is the situation I have witnessed more than once - not all drivers know the sequence has changed and are not expecting the pedestrian lights to go red (because they should not) so they drive straight through the red light. One of the occassions, I witnessed, had a pedestrian waiting to cross, luckily they checked before they crossed! Please can you correct this because it is an accident waiting to happen. Thanks
