Bus stop missing after traffic collision

Reported via desktop in the Damage - other (bus stops and shelters) category anonymously at 17:41, Friday 26 January 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5496641.

The 492 bus stop on Shepherds Lane (opposite no.54/56) was removed after a road traffic accident on Saturday 20th January 2024 where it was damaged. It has not yet been replaced and the bus (492) has not been stopping. I tried to get the bus from here while visiting my parents and the driver ignored my request of a hand out (presumably because they believed there wasn’t a stop) and drove past which meant I then missed my connecting train causing all sorts of issues for me. My parents have seen others unable to get the bus from here too. Perhaps a temporary stop until it can be replaced would be great.
