Large pothole on A40 heading eastbound on Edgeware road flyover.

Sent to TfL 5 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS5567933.
I was driving early Sunday 11th on the Eastbound A40 flyover around Edgeware Road in the inside lane when I hit a large unseen pothole which was very deep and consequently my left front tyre burst. I had to have the tyre replaced. I went back later to try and get a photo but could not as the traffic was too fast and I couldn't get out of the car. The attached is the nearest junction sign which should enable you to locate and fix the problem. I also have a chip on the Alloy. I will be claiming from Westminster the cost of the replacement tyre and chipped alloy. Please advise if this is the correct way to claim for the damaged tyre and wheel. I need to be compensated for this due to the failure of Westminster council failing to maintain the road. Many thanks.
Thank you for taking the time to report this to. We appreciate this an wanted to let you know that we’ve re-categorised this and it will now be directed to the appropriate team.

Thanks for the reply. I would disagree with the classification "Pothole (Minor)" as like I said, it burst my tyre, but that is up to you. Please advise how I make a claim for the cost of the replacement tyre and wheel remedial works. Many thanks.
