To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to bring to your attention an incident that occurred during my visit to London on 11th February 2024.

While traveling on the dual carriageway, I encountered a significant pothole that resulted in a puncture to the front passenger car tyre. Thankfully, my vehicle was equipped with a run-flat tyre, which enabled me to safely navigate to a nearby side road and seek assistance. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained during this incident.

The unexpected cost incurred due to the tyre damage amounted to £240.00. In light of the circumstances, I kindly request reimbursement for this expense.

Regrettably, I was unable to capture photographic evidence of the pothole at the time of the incident due to concerns for my safety and the presence of oncoming traffic. However, I have enclosed a screenshot indicating the approximate location where the incident occurred, along with proof of payment for the replacement tyre.
