TFL busses and cars going past red light/green pedestrian light

Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 18:05, Thursday 15 February 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5582906.

Hi, in suppostive of the above title, a few weeks ago, I was crossing this road whilst the green pedestrian light was on and a TFL bus ran past me with intense speed, it was shocking. I was so close to getting knocked over. The light was still greenly lit with the walking pedestrian signal. This wasn't the first time this incident has happened as even yesterday a few cars uncaring drove past while the green pedestrian light was on (and theirs was red!). My neighbours have also mentioned similar incidents on this road on a different crossing. We are concerned about this behaviour as we can't trust road symbols during mid-crossing on this road. I suspect it's faulty signal lights on the driver's side as there were many close closes mid-crossing. There is an accident or death waiting to happen on this road. An assessment on the lights or CCTV cameras are needed.
