30cm pothole in the dark

I had a bike accident throwing myself off the bike because of the pothole on Harrow Road on Tuesday the 13th February around 18:30. It is located on the left side of the road, right by the pavement, just after the downhill started before the tunnel to go out to the junction near Royal Oak station to be precise. The size of this pothole is appx. 30cm wide and 15 cm deep. After I hit at this pothole by my bike, I lost balance and landed on my head. How lucky I was not having any cars or buses driving behind me, however as I hit my face and head really hard, I needed to go to A&E. I was heavily concussed, but fortunately the injury is only external bleed. However, my phone, watch and keys were completely destroyed, so need a replacement as well as my bike needs a repair. As there are not many lights, I did not see the hole until I hit it although I was using the strong front light on my bike.
