Pedestrians walking on cycle lane

Reported via desktop in the Roadworks category by Freddie Lloyd at 13:45, Mon 19 February 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5599431.

Along this section of the embankment there is construction work blocking the pavement on the river side. This means that there are constantly pedestrians (mainly tourists) walking on the cycle lane rather than crossing over to the opposite pavement, creating a risk of accidents (particularly at night). They don't seem to realise this isn't allowed. Could you put up a sign saying that there is no pedestrian access and asking them to cross the road.
