Bus stop gets flooded when it rains
Reported via mobile in the Standing water category anonymously at 06:57, Wed 21 February 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5607679.
The bus stop was resurfaced last year but the new tarmac is not flush with the old road surface. This means water coming down the road can’t reach the drain after the bus stop and creates a large puddle. When the buses move off, water is sprayed across the entire pavement by the bus stop. This water is absolutely filthy and the pavement is also uneven, which means this water collects - and stays - in puddles. It is often much worse than it looks in this photo after heavy rain.
