Lack of signage to support new road layout causing dangerous behaviour

Reported via mobile in the Worn out road markings category anonymously at 08:17, Fri 8 March 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5684390.

A20/A2122 intersection near Sutcliffe park I frequently use this intersection going from Sidcup road to Kidbrooke Park road and I am worried there will be an accident. The road layout has changed with new markings on the road itself, but there is no signage to that effect. This is causing confusion amongst drivers, many of whom continue to use the old layout unaware of the changes until too late or aggressively hooting those using the correct new lane. Please can signs be added to alert drivers to the road layout changes indicating the appropriate lanes and hopefully this will help drivers get used to the new layout & avoid a collision.
