Pedestrian lights do not turn green
Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 20:19, Friday 15 March 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5720497.
Something changes after c730pm. During the day the pedestrian lights work fine and turn green so pedestrians can cross. But at night the lights never go green for pedestrians, no matter how many times buttons are pushed. Pedestrians are constantly having to cross red lights in the dark with traffic coming around blind corners. It is very dangerous and I have seen many pedestrians having to run to avoid being hit, + car drivers becoming angry at people on the road.
