Poorly maintained and uneven pavement
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 13:09, Tue 26 March 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5768480.
On 16 March 20224 I tripped and fell on a section of poorly maintained and uneven pavement suffering serious facial and dental injuries. Upon returning to the location a warning bollard had been placed at the spot where I had tripped on the uneven surface. I am, therefore, holding TfL responsible for my injuries and trauma alongside the associated dental costs resulting from your failure to maintain the pavement in this area of Balham High Road in a safe manner for pedestrians. I will also be reporting this to your Incident Support Service.
