  • This was first reported three weeks ago and it isn’t getting any quieter or safer. This access cover is outside the Town Hall! Typically, the Mayor and his team seem to think Wandsworth is a ‘lock in’ for them on May 2nd. After cancelling the reconfiguration of the town centre they might just find that the locals don’t agree.

  • A classic ‘tick-the-box’ attempt to show something is being done, some fool tried to cover the cover and didn’t have enough material to hold it properly in place - it lasted about two hours - pathetic. Now they still have to come back to fix it properly! Sack the contractor who did this as it is beyond shoddy and lazy work.

  • Well at least this time they covered it! It still rocks but the noise is muffled at least. So if it still moves, how long will this temporary ‘cover’ last? Watch this space!!
