Dangerous situation with faulty green lights
Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 08:07, Thursday 4 April 2024
Sent to TfL 46 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS5804315.
These lights seem to have a dangerous fault where they can display simultaneous greens in different directions. I've seen people crossing London road where it meets St Georges Circus with a green man, but the traffic still has a green light. Yesterday I had a green light coming on a bike from Borough Road, but the bus going north on London Road also had a green light and nearly hit me.

Hi - this is not "pedestrian button not working" which you have updated it to. It is a fault with the lights. I got a green traffic light on a bike coming on borough road, when a bus also had a green light coming on London road. It's much more dangerous than a button not working.

There are two lights for bikes. you obviously ignored/didn't see the next one and went onto the roundabout. the lights are working fine.
