Shelter old no protection from rain
Reported via mobile in the Damage - other (bus stops and shelters) category anonymously at 09:24, Wed 10 April 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5832774.
I use this bus stop shelter daily and it has very old concrete and there is very little space to shelter when it rains because of the wooden bench and thick wall which leaves little space for the shelter roof. I saw 3 people standing on the high wooden bench underneath the shelter roof recently because if you stand is beneath the edge of the shelter roof there are large drips falling. This bus stop is used a lot and needs to be updated and fit for purpose i.e. sheltering people in the rain and the concrete needs to be removed please. The other wooden benches at the stop there are broken and rotten with no shelter at all. The only shelter at all is a few bushes which provide very little shelter in the rain by the rotten wooden benches. Many thanks
