Two Mnahole Covers Rocking 260 City Road

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS5833597.

As you are aware this issue has been reported to you several times now. On each occasion you say that it has been reported to the contractors/utility concerned. Then nothing happens. The noise continues. I originally reported the problem to Islington Council who kindly referred me to you as the authority concerned. It would be helpful if you could provide a reference and contact details of the untility/contractor concerned in order that i can follow them up and get the problem fixed. thankyou

  • Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. This has been investigated and we have now referred it to our contractors. If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.   • Thank you for your automated response. I would be grateful however if you could answer the question? I have reported this problem several times and each time you advise that you have reported it to the relevant contractor/utility. In order that i can follow up and get this problem fixed please can you provide the name and contact details of the utility to whom you have reported the matter. thank you.

  • Many thanks for arranging for the Manhole Cover at 260 City Road to be fixed. (pictured) This is much appreciated. I would be most grateful if you could also arrange for the manhole cover at 261 City Road to be fixed.
