The road markings have changed but there is no signage to state the fact.

Reported via desktop in the Worn out road markings category anonymously at 11:55, Wednesday 22 May 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6006316.

As can be seen from the attached photo, taken from Google Street View, this is the old situation where the two left hand lanes were for the A20, and the right-hand lane was for traffic going "straight ahead" into A2213 Kidbrooke Park Road and turning sharp right into A210 Eltham Road. Since the lanes have been repurposed, the left hand lane only is for the A20, the middle lane is for the A2213 Kidbrooke Park Road and the right hand lane is for the A210 Eltham Road. Unfortunately, due to the lack of signage (e.g. New Road Layout Ahead) and lack of road markings (e.g. it states A2213 - who knows that is the A2213?), most Kidbrooke Park Road traffic still uses the right hand lane. This could easily be solved by adding signage (e.g. a sign showing the three lanes and indicating which lane is for which road), and adding road markings to give the location the lane is for (e.g. instead of A2213 only, put A2213 KID, instead of A20 put A20 LEE, instead of A210 put A210 ELT).
