Pothole in the carriageway in 40mph road
Reported via mobile in the Pothole (major) category anonymously at 12:46, Wed 22 May 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6006639.
On SATURDAY 18th May 2025 at around 2030 hours, I exited BOW ROUNDABOUT onto A12 heading towards HACKNEY WICK, in lane ONE of FOUR. I was travelling in lane one intending to exit onto WICK LANE. Whilst driving at 40mph I had no alternative but to drive over the below pothole which is unavoidable. I heard a large bang from the front left of my car. I pulled over at the first suitable location to see a bulge in my front LEFT tyre. The damage from this pothole has caused this, I know this because moments before Bow Roundabout I had just cleaned my car where no defect was found.
