I've fractured my pelvis on uneven surface

Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 11:10, Sat 25 May 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6019088.

I was visiting Lewisham when I fell on an uneven pavement outside the corner part (rounded building) of Barclays bank on Tuesday 21st May 2024 at approximately midday. Several people who where stood at the bus stop came to my aid, as I was in shock I was unable to get any names or take any photos. As a result of this fall I have fractured my pelvis and need to be completely non weight bearing on my right leg for at least 6 weeks. I contacted Lewisham council who have said this is your area of responsibility and not theirs. Therefore I am contacting you in order to make an official claim for compensation. This accident has caused me great pain, discomfort, stress and disappointment as I have had to cancel a very expensive long awaited trip to Canada and Alaska. I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
