Two bus lane signs defaced with white paint
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6034047.
Eastbound carriageway, between Clayhall Avenue and Highwood Gardens two bus lane signs have been painted with white paint obscuring the operational rules of the bus lane. Could not take a photo as I was driving. Spotted this damage / graffiti at 6:30pm on 28 May 2024.

It looks almost all of the bus lane signs - in both directions - have been covered with black bin liners or similar.

Our MP is now reporting that TfL has suspended the bus lanes. So could the black bags (and white paint) have been put there by TfL?
