There are a number of low overhanging tree branches causing a serious danger to cyclist & pedestrians. This is extremely bad between Sutton Lane & Lancaster Place, I cycle this stretch of cycle path regularly as I commute from Camberley to Sky Studios. I now feel like I am in the boxing ring whilst cycling this stretch of the A4 as I have to bob & weave through the low hanging branches. The other day I was lucky not to suffer a serious injury when a branch became intangled in my cycle helmet & yank my head back which nearly caused me to dismount my bike & take a nasty fall. I have also suffered some nasty whips to my face by these branches when the wind picks up. The other major issue is the visual obstruction these low over hanging branches cause for both cyclist's & drivers of motor vehicles. I had a driver nearly hit me on Tuesday afternoon who couldn't see me. These cycle paths could also do with a regular clean by a road sweeper as some sections have latge amounts of debris... glass, nails/screws & other sharp objects which cause punchers as well as broken branches.
