Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6138585.
Since works began yesterday, Blackheath Hill and surrounding areas have been gridlocked. There is nearly 7 metres of road space next to the works, 9 if the parking bay was suspended. More than enough fir 2 buses to safely pass. The traffic light timings are too short and out of sync. Replaced 2 phase with 5 phase! The ped crossings which are not on permanent lights! Are included in phasing. Multiple near misses. Emergency vehicles held up and all for no reason

It's ACTUALLY 7 phase!! The tm has put a head on friendly place which is a 50m stretch of no through road which is used by less than 5 cars. And one on John Penn Street when they could have positioned the head to cover John Penn St AND lewisham Road.
