181 Stanstead Rd- slime & water in pavement
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 12:51, Wed 10 July 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6213233.
By Stanstead Road/Colfe Road bus stop D, the pavement is covered in green slime and scummy water. Water is slightly leaking from a wall outside block of flats 181. It’s dangerous, slippery, unpleasant to walk through. I have almost slipped over. Pram wheels get all gungy and green.

I am not the original poster, but I took pics. Still there... water now green and as previous report states, very slimy. What WAS a gentle dribble of water is now almost bubbling out. Even if this is not under the jurisdiction of Thames Water (as it could be coming from the front garden of the property)... the property owner or occupier need informing.

Water has stopped. It's been dry for 2 weeks now (around 17th July) never saw any contractors working there though. It must be a MIRACLE! - As only getting this alert today - 30/07/24
But very glad it's fixed.
