Piece of looped steel wire at base of Red barrier is acting as a trip wire

Reported via mobile in the Roadworks category anonymously at 23:49, Thursday 11 July 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6220330.

On the corner of Carlingford Rd, by the burnt out, dodgy bike shop, there is a mixture of pavement works and rubbish from the bike shop. I turned up here to go home and was totally taken out by a very thin piece of steel wire that is protruding from the base of one of the red barriers. I fell, whacked both knees, cut my hand and hit my head. I was lucky not to hit a large piece of glass which was also lying on the floor. This is very dangerous and likely to happen again as it’s a narrow pavement. I am sending my husband out now to take photos and remove it so it’s no longer a danger
