Major Flooding on 40Mph Road and at merge point
Reported via iOS in the Standing water category anonymously at 22:21, Fri 12 July 2024
Sent to TfL 3 hours, 12 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS6224189.
The area shown on the marked up screenshot is indicative of the area which has been flooding for years at the slightest rainfall. This blocks off the left and centre lane completely leaving the right hand lane as the only passable lane. A gully is show in the image also which is likely the culprit of the flooding. Please can you look at the permanent fix to this as it is very dangerous on a 40mph road, right after a roundabout and at the lane merge point. Perhaps reconsider the drainage design capacity, road falls etc.
