Several potholes
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6259116.
I drive through the Blackwall Tunnel regularly. The southbound tunnel has seven or eight large potholes. These cannot be avoided given the width of the tunnel and are causing damage to my vehicle. You propose charging us to use the tunnel, which in its current state, is wholly unacceptable. The tunnel was closed all weekend causing considerable inconvenience. Why were these potholes not fixed then?

If the defect is confirmed as a safety issue, it will be made safe within 24 hours. A permanent repair, if needed will be carried out during our next programmed works for the area, or sooner if we can.
