Cannot see what colour traffic light is when trying to cross road
Reported via desktop in the Safety concern (traffic or pedestrian) category anonymously at 16:36, Saturday 27 July 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6283340.
When crossing Charlton Way as a pedestrian from the marked position it is not possible to see the colour of the traffic lights heading west along Charlton Way- I was recently almost hit by a car as I thought it was safe to cross. Is it possible to have an additional traffic light on the west side of the junction pointing east so that is visible to pedestrians trying to cross?
