Fixed
Safety wall still not replaced
Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category by Pat Mack at 14:36, Wednesday 7 August 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6328162.
This wall was demolished by a vehicle in Jan/Feb and NOTHING has been done to repair it. There are barriers in place in the 20ft + gap ,scruffy and not very secure. The site is on the very busy A 232 near Keston Mark ( one of the most dangerous crossings in the area) This footpath on the North side of the carriageway and is used by many people to avoid getting splashed when the bad weather comes as the wall, a very ancient one, is a good protection. It has been reported many times but nothing has come of the reports. The last time I reported it I did get a reference number as follows No: 20310621. Perhaps I can look forward to your remarks on this long standing problem. The site of the breach is outside no 66 (Crossways) Thankyou in anticipation.
