Missing School Street Sign
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 09:39, Thursday 8 August 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6330757.
I have previously raised an issue of the school street sign falling down. This was raised on 10 May 2024, FixMyStreet ref: 5836173. Ticket has been marked as fixed.
The pole has been fixed, but the school street sign had not been put up since. If the school street sign had been fixed correctly, then the car accident this morning (see photo) may have been avoided. The car had hit Singlegate Primary School at a time which would have been a school rush hour. Luckily the school is closed for holidays now.
