Very long wait time for pedestrians leading to adhoc crossing

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6362879.
Signal 24/191 - resident complaint with regards time for signals to activate for pedestrians, the lights had been green for a while and took a further 42 seconds to activate after pushing button. Given the amount of kids that cross here at school time, can this crossing please be made more reactive? not sure if it is linked to the Arragon Road signals? Can feedback please be gven.
