Slippery pavement

Reported via mobile in the Standing water category anonymously at 18:29, Mon 26 August 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6400058.

This water on Glebe Way continues to leak, despite two insufficient sand bags attempting to stem the flow. There is now a thin layer of silt that is incredibly slippery and has caused a young person to slip and fall. This is a persistent issue and has been reported repeatedly.

  • My daughter has just had a nasty fall here tonight 3/9/24 at approximately 9.15pm. It is treacherous and very dangerous

  • I had a fall here yesterday and hurt both my wrist and ankle. The path is very dangerous and slippery where the water is stagnant and green algae is growing. The water is flowing from the wall by the side of the path. Since it was reported on the 24th August clearly nothing has been done even though other accidents have been reported. I believe it should be treated as a safety issue!
