Traffic light is stuck on red

Reported via desktop in the Stuck on red category anonymously at 10:56, Monday 2 September 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6425464.

-When turning right from Barnet High St into A1081 St Albans Rd, the filter light stays on red for 3, 4, 5 changes of the lights. -This is very dangerous as cars/lorries give up waiting and make the turn anyway, endangering other traffic users, or pull into the 'straight on' lane -Your page shows that this issue has been reported time and time again, but it is not being rectified and has definitely not been fixed.

  • @TFL - How many reports of faults are needed before you take propper remdeial action and fix the fault. Evey time we report a fault you wait two weeks and then tell us contractors have fixed it. But this is not the case. Either contractors are incompetent or they are lying to you. I suggest the issue is with the detector loop and that this either needs to be disconnected or replaced.
