Hole in pavement - Possible Sinkhole

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6463306.
MOP says there is a hole on the pavement developing. Appears to be forming a sinkhole. MOP has placed a traffic cone on it temporarily, but says needs attention asap. Located in front of 199 Whitechapel Road(between restaurant & coffee shop). Noticed around 2315hrs today.

.we have requested our contractor to attend and make safe and take any action as appropriate. Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. This has been investigated and has now been referred to our contractors. If this defect is confirmed as a safety issue this will be made safe within two hours. If a permanent repair is required, we will aim to carry it out within 28 days. Should you need anything else or have any questions, you may wish to contact our customer services team on 0343 222 1234
Please also be aware that, all Action Scheduled reports are automatically closed after 28 days. However, the fault will be fixed within this timescale, which may be sooner, or in a few cases take a little longer
