14 bus is terminating early at Lytton Grove

Reported via desktop in the Incorrect timetable information category anonymously at 13:43, Saturday 28 September 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6526927.

The 14 Bus is not continuing to the Green Man bus stop. It is now constantly terminating at Lytton Grove despite the bus & update board still being labeled "Green Man". When we querie why the bus is always terminating early we are told " talk to TFL" Terrible service! This has been happening every time I use the bus this week.

Updates

  • Yes, I agree with the original complaint. The driver makes everyone get off at Lytton Grove the actually carries on to the Green Man stop empty! Can someone please look into this urgently? Thanks

  • Why is this happening. The buses discharge all their passengers at Lytton Grove. The bus then drives 600m or so to the Green Man and parks up requiring the numerous passengers who use the 14 as a means to connect with the 493 and 170 to walk to the Green Man. The pavement is very narrow and difficult to navigate and particularly so for disabled people, the elderly and people with small children and/or rams to say nothing of trying to cross a very busy road. It is inexplicable and impossible to even imagine any logical reason for this change. At the very least Tfl owe the public an explanation for this illogical madness.
