Pedestrian Crossing is changing to green from red and beeping every 30 seconds

Reported via desktop in the Safety concern (traffic or pedestrian) category anonymously at 20:58, Monday 30 September 2024

Sent to TfL 22 hours, 36 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS6535559.

This pedestrian crossing is changing from red to green (and beeping) every 30 seconds even though no one is pressing the button. This has been going on since Friday evening about 6pm. The noise stops at 11pm and then starts again at 7am.

From an earlier report it said an engineer had been out to investigate and there is no problem. The problem is certainly still there however as I am still hearing it now at 8.57 pm on Monday 30th September.
